ICNY x Puma Ignite "Ice Cream" Pack

PUMA^® AND ICNY SCOOP UP A SERVING OF THE IGNITE “ICE CREAM” TO MARK THEIR SECOND COLLABORATION

Herzogenaurach, Germany (August 21, 2015) – Global Sports Brand PUMA reunites with alternative sportswear pioneers ICNY this season with another exciting release – an amalgamation of both brands’ vision, push for innovation and integration of sport into lifestyle.

ICNY was developed after founder and designer Mike Cherman was struck by a car whilst cycling. Motivated by this, ICNY was created with the aspiration to provide added safety and increased visibility by using reflective materials on key areas of sport apparel and accessories.

For this second collaboration, PUMA and ICNY chose the latest running franchise - the IGNITE runner, and embed ICNY’s renowned DNA into its full extent. IGNITE is one of PUMA’s most responsive running shoes ever released providing superior cushioning with the IGNITE Foam that disperses impact forces while delivering responsiveness and energy return for faster and longer runs. It’s the perfect profile to take on the cutting edge designs of ICNY.

The IGNITE Ice Cream is an intersection of style and innovation that both brands proudly represent. The pack comes in two colorways inspired by ice cream flavours, chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip. The upper is decked in full-color 3M reflective material while the IGNITE foam outsole is dressed with black speckles that resemble chocolate chips and cookies. The breathable mesh upper keeps the temperature down even during the hottest of summer days.

The IGNITE Ice Cream drops on the 22^nd of August exclusively through icnysport.com and globally across PUMA stores and sneaker boutiques on the 5^th of September. This drop is a sampling of the much-anticipated PUMA x ICNY range of footwear, apparel and accessories in Autumn-Winter ’15 releasing in September.
